Hands down the best congees. The texture is not too thick but also not too watery. And if you're wondering what is congee, it's pretty much the Chinese version of chicken noodle soup. My favorite is the combination that has squid, beef, pork, and peanuts. I tried other congees but my favorite is still the combination. I especially love to add a fried dough to go with it. The shop also sells Cantonese bbq meats and it's all pretty good. The prices are pretty standard. Lunch time and weekends get pretty busy, but I usually call ahead. Since covid, they haven't had dine-in options; only takeout.

This place can be chaotic at times but i always come here for my congee and fried dough sticks. Best congee ever and price is decent. This is the only chinese restaurant i like my congee from cause of the texture and taste. Wait times can be a bit long but the lines move

Friendly reminder that they're cash only and take out only. I was expecting to dine in and wasn't prepared for cash only. Came in during a rush but they're quick. I got ground beef congee, wonton, beef stew, and stuff eggplant. Everything was fairly cheap for the amount I got. All the food were piping hot. The rice in the congee was fine and the congee itself wasn't too thick. There was a good amount of ground meat. The stuffed eggplants didn't come with rice. I wasn't sure what it was stuffed with but it was delicious. It had some black bean sauce with it.

Only ordered takeout. Good cheap eats for family gatherings. Not major complaints of the food. Staple.

My go-to place for congee on a weekend. My favorite is the pork and century egg congee and the fish congee, both with extra peanuts. You must get the fried dough to dip in the congee. There was one time I ordered two different types of congee and the fried dough and they forgot to pack the fried dough. But overall, great place for congee and roasted meats.

Don't think you can find another place this cheap and filling as here where each dish is $7 and it's packed AND delicious! Personal fave was the eggplant and beef because it had a sweeter taste. The duck meat and fish was on the saltier spectrum. There's a lot of rice underneath cause you'll need it to mix with the saucy mains.

I come here for their delicious congee and salted fried bread (to dip in congee). I usually order take out of the combo beef/squid/pork congee and its still hot and delicious when I take it home. I eat it whenever I feel sick and it just warms me up.
